We thought that we’d bring back one of our first posts, since it’s timely and informative.
Please feel free to share this with friends and family!

Our Kickstarter is now underway, please click here to check it out!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you should have heard of KICKSTARTER by now!

Kickstarter is one of a few “crowdfunding” websites out there.  These sites provides someone with an idea the ability to find folks that believe in that idea enough to “back” the project that brings the idea to life. These “backers” contribute to a project, and if enough money is raised, the project is considered funded and the money is released to the idea creator to allow them to bring that idea to life. In exchange for funding a project the “backers” get “rewarded”. Usually with one of what ever the idea is.

The catch with Kickstarter is that it’s all or nothing – If a project doesn’t reach it’s goal, no money is collected, and no money is gained.  So it’s not a risk for the backers!

BerserkCreators who post on crowdfunding sites are essentially “PRE-SELLING” what they want to bring to market.

We have spent a lot of time and resources to bring this new edition of Ophidian to you.  We believe in this product, and think that it deserves a place in the gaming world… a place that was denied the first time around in 2003, when its publisher went out of business shortly after the game’s release.

This is the first step, the first release, in a strategy that will propel Hack and Slash Games into the future, and we need your help to get there.  We aren’t asking for charity, after all – you will get a copy of the game (or more!) when you become a backer!  So please help us, and we will continue to bring great games to the world.

Kickstarter and other crowdfunding sites are seeing massive success all across the board with people making everything from movies to electronics.  There are some truly inspiring success stories when it comes to funding board games and card games.

Will you help us to tell one of those stories?
